Why can't I have an early pregnancy scan before 7 weeks?
Early pregnancy scans before 7 weeks gestation may not reliably detect a heartbeat due to the limitations of abdominal ultrasound. This could lead to inconclusive assessments of your pregnancy. Our team includes fully qualified OB/GYNs (specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology) and male sonographers (female sonographers may be available upon advance request).
What if my baby is in the wrong position?
In the event that we are unable to conduct a proper scan due to your baby's position not being conducive to scanning, we offer a complimentary re-scan within 2 weeks of your initial appointment (Monday to Friday).
